Demilune Table

This is a demilune table, designed by one of the top woodworkers in North America, Garrett Hack. I took a course with him.
There's hardly a straight line in this table. The legs are tapered all the way down, and the front apron curves into the rear legs, which are turned slightly inward. There was a lot of planing and fitting by hand.


The wood is air-dried cherry, which is a treat to work with. The finish is an oil/poly mix, hand applied, then topped off with wax.
